Adds a new image to the map displayed in a Map control.
Example

ImageOnMap is MapImage

MapAddImage(MAP_MyMap, ImageOnMap)
Syntax
<Result> = MapAddImage(<Map control> , <Image>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the image could be added,
  • False otherwise. To get more details on the error, use ErrorInfo.
<Map control>: Control name
Name of the Map control to be used. If this parameter corresponds to an empty string (""), the Map control to which the current event belongs will be used.
<Image>: MapImage variable
Name of the MapImage variable that corresponds to the image to be added.
Remarks
  • If the image has already been added to the Map control or if it is invalid (e.g.: unspecified width), a fatal error will be displayed.
  • To delete an image drawn in a Map control, use MapDeleteImage.
  • To modify an image drawn in a Map control, use MapModifyImage.
