Defines an Image control as destination of a chart.
  • This function cannot be used with the Chart controls.
  • This function cannot be used in the report editor.
Linux Caution: A specific configuration is required to use this function in Linux. For more details, see The charts.
// Define the "IMG_ChartImage" control as destination of "MyChart"
grDestinationControl("MyChart", IMG_ChartImage)
grDestinationControl(<Chart name> , <Image control>)
<Chart name>: Character string
Name of chart to use, defined by grCreate.
<Image control>: Control name
Name of the Image control where the chart will be drawn.

Creating and drawing a chart through programming

To draw a chart:
Next time grDraw is called, the chart will be drawn inside <Image control>. Another image can be associated with this control: the drawing of the chart will be stacked in front of the image.

Changing destination

If the chart was previously displayed in an independent window, this independent window will be closed during the next call to grDraw.
