LeftMargin (Property) In french: MargeGauche
The LeftMargin property is used to: - Find out the left margin of a report.
- Modify the left margin of a report.
Caution: The left margin of a report can only be modified in the report "Opening" event. Remark: The different margins of a report are defined in the format of the page ("Layout" in the context menu of the report).

Finding out the left margin of a report Hide the details
<Result> = <Report used>.LeftMargin
<Result>: Real Left margin (in millimeters) of the specified report. <Report used>: Report name Name of the report to be used.
Modifying the left margin of a report Hide the details
<Report used>.LeftMargin = <New left margin>
<Report used>: Report name Name of the report to be used. <New left margin>: Real New left margin (in millimeters) for the specified report. Remarks Physical margin/Logical margin Each printer includes a physical margin where no print is allowed. The BottomMargin, RightMargin, LeftMargin and TopMargin properties are used to define "logical" print margins. - If the physical margin is greater than the logical margin: The logical margin is ignored. The report will be compressed in order to be printed on a single page. To prevent report compression, select "Print the report as it is" in the report description window ("Options" tab).
- If the physical margin is less than the logical margin: The logical margin is taken into account. The physical margin is ignored.
Limit The LeftMargin property applies only to reports.
