The NewLine property is used to determine:

in a Table control, whether the current row was created with TableAdd, TableAddLine, TableInsert or TableInsertLine.
in a Looper control, whether the current row was created with LooperAdd, LooperAddLine, LooperInsert or LooperInsertLine.
in an Organizer control, whether an appointment was created via the popup menu. This property can be used in the "Entry in edit in an appointment" and "Exit from input for the appointment" events.
in a Scheduler control, whether an appointment was created via the popup menu. This property can be used in the "Entry in edit in an appointment" and "Exit from input for the appointment" events.

Remark: The NewLine property can be used on controls linked to a data file and controls handled programmatically.

// Checks whether the current row in "TABLE_CustomerTable" was just created
ResNew = TABLE_CustomerTable.NewLine

Syntax

<Result> = <Control used>.NewLine

<Result>: Boolean

True if:
in the Table control, the current row was created with TableAdd, TableAddLine, TableInsert or TableInsertLine.
in the Looper control, the current row was created with LooperAdd, LooperAddLine, LooperInsert or LooperInsertLine.
in an Organizer control, the appointment was created via the popup menu.
in a Scheduler control, the appointment was created via the popup menu.
False otherwise (if the current element in the control comes from the linked file for example).

Remarks

Initializing the NewLine property

The NewLine property is initialized to True by:

TableAdd, TableAddLine, TableInsert and TableInsertLine
LooperAdd, LooperAddLine, LooperInsert and LooperInsertLine.
the addition of an appointment via the automatic popup menu of the Organizer control.
the addition of an appointment via the automatic popup menu of the Scheduler control.

This property is initialized to False after the execution of the "Row exit" event, except if this process contains:

TableAdd, TableAddLine, TableInsert or TableInsertLine
LooperAdd, LooperAddLine, LooperInsert or LooperInsertLine.
