Handling a status bar in the window editor
This help page presents the different operations that can be performed in a status bar: - adding a cell.
- delete a cell.
- change the order of the cells.
All these operations are performed in the window editor: - via the context menu of the status bar (right click on the status bar displayed in the window).
- from the ribbon: on the "Window" tab, in the "Bars and menus" group, expand "Status bar" and select "Edit".
Reminder: To display a status bar in the current window, perform one of the following operations: - select "Status bar" in the "Style" tab of the window description.
- on the "Window" tab, in the "Bars and menus" group, expand "Status bar" and select "With status bar".
To add a cell into the status bar of current window: - select "Insert a cell" from the context menu of the status bar.
- click the "Add" or "Insert" button from the description window of status bar.
Remark: By default, the first created cell displays the information message linked to the current control or specified by programming. To delete a cell from the status bar of the current window: - Select the cell to remove.
- Delete the cell by performing one of the following operations:
- Select "Delete a cell" from the popup menu of the cell.
- Display the description window of the status bar: on the "Window" tab, in the "Bars and menus" group, expand "Status bar" and select "Edit". The current cell is selected.
Click the "Delete" button.
Modifying the order of cells To change the order of the cells in the status bar of the current window: - Select the cell whose position must be modified.
- Move the cell:
- via the context menu of the cell ("Move left" or "Move right")
- via the description window of the status bar.
- Open the description window: on the "Window" tab, in the "Bars and menus" group, expand "Status bar" and select "Edit". The current cell is selected.
