<Looper>.RecNum (Function)

Returns the number of the current record in a Looper control based on a data file.
Example
// Number of the current record in "LOOP_ProductLooper"
ResRecNum = LOOP_ProductLooper.RecNum()
Syntax
<Result> = <Looper control>.RecNum()
<Result>: Integer
  • Current record number in the data file linked to the Looper control,
  • 0 if there is no current row or if the current row is not saved yet in the data file linked to the Looper control.
<Looper control>: Control name
Name of the Looper control to be used.
Remarks

Looper control based on a query

If the query was run with the hWithFilter constant (option checked in the query editor), <Looper>.RecNum returns the number of the current record in the query.
If the query was run without the hWithFilter constant, <Looper>.RecNum returns an undefined result.
