Returns the number of incoming messages in Outlook. This number of messages evolves according to the emails received or deleted by EmailDeleteMessage.

Example

MyOutlookSession is emailOutlookSession

Syntax

<Result> = <Outlook session>.NbMessage()

<Result>: Integer

Number of incoming messages found in the Outlook messaging software during the call to <emailOutlookSession variable>.NbMessage,
-1 if an error occurred. For more details about the error, use the function ErrorInfo.

<Outlook session>: emailOutlookSession variable

Name of the emailOutlookSession variable corresponding to the email session to use.

Remarks

Deleted messages (Outlook messaging)

In the same email session, if a message was deleted by EmailDeleteMessage, <emailOutlookSession variable>.NbMessage returns the correct number of messages found in the incoming email folder.
