Syntax
<Result> = hdfsDelete(<Connection> , <Path> [, <Options>])
<Result>: Boolean - True if deleted successfully,
- False if a problem occurs. ErrorInfo is used to identify the error.
<Connection>: hdfsConnection variable Name of the hdfsConnection variable that corresponds to connection to the Hadoop server. <Path>: Character string Absolute path of file or directory to delete from the Hadoop server. This path is case sensitive. <Options>: Optional Integer constant Deletion options: | | hdfsDefault (Default value) | A directory that is not empty will not be deleted. | hdfsRecursive | The contents of directory and subdirectories are also deleted. |
