Displays the gridlines for the different planes of a Surface chart.
Remark: The gridlines of a surface chart can also be enabled/disabled in the "General" tab of the description window of the Chart control.
Example
grSurfaceGridlines(CHART_Chart1, grPlaneXZ, grGridlinesX + grGridlinesZ)
grSurfaceGridlines(CHART_Chart1, grPlaneXY, grNoGridlines)
grSurfaceGridlines(CHART_Chart1, grPlaneXY, grNoGridlines)
Syntax
grSurfaceGridlines(<Chart name> , <Plane> , <Axis>)
<Chart name>: Control name or character string
Name of the chart to be used. This name corresponds to:
  • the chart name defined through programming with grCreate.
  • the name of Chart control (found in the window editor or in the report editor).
<Plane>: Integer constants
Plane onto which the gridlines are applied:
grPlaneXYGridlines of XY plane.
grPlaneXZGridlines of XZ plane.
grPlaneYZGridlines of YZ plane.
<Axis>: Integer constant (or combination of constants)
Axis onto which the gridlines are applied:
grGridlinesXThe gridlines are displayed on the X axis (available if <Plane> corresponds to the grPlaneXZ constant or to the grPlaneXY constant).
grGridlinesYThe gridlines are displayed on the Y axis (available if <Plane> corresponds to the grPlaneXY constant or to the grPlaneYZ constant).
grGridlinesZThe gridlines are displayed on the Z axis (available if <Plane> corresponds to the grPlaneXZ constant or to the grPlaneYZ constant).
grNoGridlinesThe gridlines are not displayed.
grPlaneXYThe gridlines are displayed on the XY plane (available if <Plane> corresponds to the grPlaneXY constant).
grPlaneXZThe gridlines are displayed on the XZ plane (available if <Plane> corresponds to the grPlaneXZ constant).
grPlaneYZThe gridlines are displayed on the YZ plane (available if <Plane> corresponds to the grPlaneYZ constant).

[ + ] This example presents the different uses of the Chart control.
Different types of charts are presented:
- Pie
- Sunburst
- Line
- Scatter
- Column
- Area
- etc.

The main features presented here are the possibility to customize of charts from the code, as well as to fill the chart from an HFSQL data file, or in the editor.
