The Map control: Automatic Application Features (AAF)
The Map control proposes several features directly accessible to the end user. These operations are performed with the mouse, like in Google Maps. The Map control of WINDEV allows the end user to: - Move on the map. (1)
To do so, use the move buttons (found in the upper-left corner of the control) or the mouse. - Zoom in and zoom out. (2)
To do so, use the zoom buttons and the scrollbar found in the upper-left corner of the control. - Switch to Street View mode (3)
To do so, move the character toward the area to display in Street View mode. To close the StreetView mode, all you have to do is click the closing cross in the the upper-right corner of the control. - See the Point of Interests (POI) found on the map. (4)
When a Point of Interest is found on the map, all you have to do is click it to display its description. Remark: When a Point of Interest is displayed on the map, a link allows you to switch to StreetView mode. To close the StreetView mode, all you have to do is click the closing cross in the the upper-right corner of the control. - Display the map in map mode or in satellite mode (5).
No need to program anything in the application in order for the end user to benefit from these features.
