Syntax
<Result> = TableColumnSubscript(<Table control> , <Column> , <Order>)
<Result>: Integer
Subscript of column:
  • The subscript of first column is set to 1.
  • The invisible columns are also listed. If the column is invisible and if the tcpDisplay constant is used, the column subscript is set to 0.
<Table control>: Control name
Name of Table or TreeView Table control to use.
If this parameter corresponds to an empty string (""), TableColumnSubscript handles the control to which the current event belongs.
<Column>: Control name
Name of column to use.
<Order>: Integer constant
Specifies the order of relevant columns:
tcpDisplayOrder in which the columns are displayed at run time.
tcpCreationOrder in which the columns have been created when describing the Table control.

WEBDEV - Server codePHP This parameter is not available. The display order of columns in edit is taken into account.
WEBDEV - Server codeWEBDEV - Browser codePHP This parameter is optional. The constant used by default is tcpCreation: the creation order of columns is taken into account.
Remarks

Use conditions

TableColumnSubscript can be used on:
  • a browsing or memory control,
  • a single-selection or multiselection control.
    WEBDEV - Server codePHP Reminder: Multiselection controls are available in Ajax only WEBDEV - Server codePHP Reminder: Multiselection is not available for Classic Table controls.
