Overview
The popup menu of an edit control proposes the option "Find on Internet" for the term selected in the control.
Versions 23 and later
This option is also available in the columns of Table, TreeView Table, Spreadsheet and Pivot Table controls. If the column is not editable, the cell content is selected.

When the option "Find on Internet" is selected, a Google search is automatically launched for the selected elements.
How to proceed?

Implementation

The option "Find xxxx on Internet" is automatically implemented for the following controls:
  • Edit controls.
  • Table and TreeView Table controls,
  • Spreadsheet controls,
  • Pivot Table controls.
The display of this option can be configured (like all the options proposed by the AAFs). See Configuring the AAF menus for more details.
By programming:
  • AAFDisable (or DisableAAF) associated with the aafInternetSearch constant is used to delete the option from the popup menu.
  • AAFConfigure (or ConfigureAAF) allows you to specify the search engine used (Google by default).
