LooperRecNum (Function)

Returns the number of the current record in a Looper control based on a data file.
Example
// Number of the current record in "LOOP_ProductLooper"
ResRecNum = LooperRecNum(LOOP_ProductLooper)
Syntax
<Result> = LooperRecNum(<Looper control>)
<Result>: Integer
  • Current record number in the data file linked to the Looper control,
  • 0 if there is no current row or if the current row is not saved yet in the data file linked to the Looper control.
<Looper control>: Control name
Name of the Looper control to be used.
If this parameter corresponds to an empty string (""), the Looper control used is the Looper control to which the current event belongs.
Remarks

Looper control based on a query

If the query was run with the hWithFilter constant (option checked in the query editor), LooperRecNum returns the number of the current record in the query.
If the query was run without the hWithFilter constant, LooperRecNum returns an undefined result.
