tapiBlindTransfer (Function)

Performs a "blind" transfer. There is no ability to retrieve the line.
Syntax
<Result> = tapiBlindTransfer(<Call identifier> , <Transfer number>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the call transfer is performed,
  • False otherwise.
<Call identifier>: Integer
Identifier of call to transfer. This identifier is defined in the WLanguage procedure called by tapiListen.
<Transfer number>: Character string
Phone number to dial.
Remarks

Limitation

tapiBlindTransfer cannot be called in the procedure for call detection (defined by tapiListen).

Transferring a call with ability to retrieve the communication

To perform a call transfer with ability to retrieve the initial call (if the transfer number refuses to take the communication for example), use tapiCompleteTransfer.
WINDEVUser code (UMC) Telephony functions use TAPI 2.0 technology and/or TAPI 3.1 technology. These technologies can be used on all systems.
Caution: the call transfer is not available for all the devices. The call transfer is taken into account for a PABX.
