Syntax
<Result> = RegistrySeek(<Search base path> , <Search string> [, <Options>])
<Result>: Character string
Search result (empty string if an error occurred). The result has the following format:
<Key path> + TAB + <Subkey> [ + TAB + <Value> [ + TAB + <Data>]]
<Search base path>: Character string (with quotes)
Path of key from which the search is performed. This path has the following format:
<Key path> [+ TAB + <Subkey> [ + TAB + <Value> [ + TAB + <Data>]]]
Windows Mobile This path can contain up to 255 characters and up to 16 levels.
<Search string>: Character string (with quotes)
Character string sought in the registry.
<Options>: Optional Integer constant (or combination of constants)
Search mode. The default search mode corresponds to:
RegistrySeekKey + RegistrySeekValue + RegistrySeekData + RegistrySeekRecursive.
RegistrySeekKeyPerforms a search in the name of keys.
RegistrySeekDataPerforms a search in the data (String, Multiple String or Extensible String data only).
RegistrySeekWholeWordSearches for the full word specified in the <Search string> parameter.
RegistrySeekRecursivePerforms a recursive search from the base key of the search.
RegistrySeekValuePerforms a search in the names of values.

32-bit application operating on a 64-bit system

On a 64-bit system, the 32-bit applications write to the registry from the following branch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node
Windows Mobile

Operating mode in GO mode and at runtime

In GO mode (simulation on the development computer), RegistrySeek handles the registry of development computer.
At runtime, RegistrySeek handles the Mobile Device registry (Pocket PC).
