Calculates the inverse of a square matrix.
Remark: The inverse matrix can be calculated:
• from a square matrix (the number of rows is equal to the number of columns)
• if the determinant (returned by MatDeterminant) is not null.

InverseResult = MatInvert("MyMatrix", "MyInverseMatrix")
Syntax
<Result> = MatInvert(<Inverse matrix to calculate> , <Calculated inverse matrix>)
<Result>: Boolean
• True if the inversion was performed,
• False otherwise. To get more details on the error, use ErrorInfo with the errMessage constant.
<Inverse matrix to calculate>: Character string
Name of the inverse matrix to be calculated, defined with MatCreate.
<Calculated inverse matrix>: Character string
Name of the inverse matrix, automatically created during the inversion.
Remarks

Existence of inverse matrix

The matrix existence is not checked. This matrix is overwritten if it existed beforehand. To check the matrix existence, use MatExist.

Identical matrices

A WLanguage error occurs if <Inverse matrix to calculate> and <Calculated inverse matrix> are identical.
