- Existence of the copied matrix
MatCopy (Function) In french: MatCopie Creates the copy of a matrix. The new matrix and the source matrix have the same dimensions. All the elements found in the source matrix are copied into the new matrix.
// Copy a matrix ResCopy = MatCopy("MyMatrix", "MyCopiedMatrix")
Syntax
<Result> = MatCopy(<Matrix to copy> , <Copied matrix>)
<Result>: Boolean - True if the matrix was copied,
- False otherwise. To get more details on the error, use ErrorInfo with the errMessage constant.
<Matrix to copy>: Character string Name of the matrix to be copied, defined with MatCreate. <Copied matrix>: Character string Name of the copied matrix, automatically created during the copy. Remarks Existence of the copied matrix The matrix existence is not checked. This matrix is overwritten if it existed beforehand. To check the matrix existence, use MatExist.
