Warning
From version 28, iPrintZone is kept for backward compatibility. This function has been replaced with iPrintArea.
Prints a text in a rectangular area. The print job is not started (only iEndPrinting can be used to start the print job).
iPrintArea("My Text", 0, 0, dHeight, 200, iCenterH, iCenterV)
Syntax
<Result> = iPrintArea(<Text> , <X1> , <Y1> , <X2> , <Y2> [, <Alignment> [, <Start> [, <End>]]])
<Result>: Integer
Number of characters printed in the rectangular area. If the entire text was printed, <Result> corresponds to the size of <Text>.
<Text>: Character string
Character string to print in a specific area.
<X1>: Real
Horizontal coordinate of the upper-left corner of the print area (in millimeters).
Value between 0 and the page width (returned by iPageWidth).
<Y1>: Real
Vertical coordinate of the upper-left corner of the print area (in millimeters).
Value between 0 and the page height (returned by iPageHeight).
<X2>: Real
Horizontal coordinate of the lower-right corner of the print area (in millimeters).
Value between 0 and the page width (returned by iPageWidth).
<Y2>: Real
Vertical coordinate of the lower-right corner of the print area (in millimeters).
Value between 0 and the page height (returned by iPageHeight).
<Alignment>: Optional Integer constant (or combination of constants)
Configures the text alignment in the area (iTop + iLeft by default).
iBottomText aligned at bottom.
iCenterHText horizontally centered.
iCenterVText vertically centered.
iLeftText aligned to left.
iRightText aligned to right.
iTopText aligned at top
<Start>: Optional integer
Index of the first <Text> character to print. If this parameter is not specified, the <Text> is printed from the first character.
<End>: Optional integer
Index of the last <Text> character to print. If this parameter is not specified, the <Text> is printed up to the last character.
