Returns the "children" of an element found in a TreeView control.

Res = TreeGiveChild(TREE_TVRecipe, "Recipes" +TAB + "Desserts", tvFirst)
// Res is equal to: "Warm Desserts"
Syntax
<Result> = TreeGiveChild(<TreeView control> , <Node path> , <Child to get>)
<Result>: Character string
  • Name of "child" element found,
  • Empty string ("") if no "child" element is found.
<TreeView control>: Control name
Name of the TreeView control to be used.
<Node path>: Character string
Full path to the node whose "child" elements are requested. This parameter:
  • has the following format:
    "<Root name>" + TAB + ["<Name of 1st node>" + TAB + ...
    ["<Name of 2nd node>" + TAB + [...]]]"<Leaf name>"
  • corresponds to the NULL constant if the "children" of the root of the TreeView control must be returned.
<Child to get>: Integer constant
Indicates the requested "child":
tvFirstFirst child element.
tvNextChild following the last child that was retrieved.
