..Selected is used to:
  • WINDEV Mobile Find out whether a row is selected (in a List Box, ListView or Table control) and select a row (in a List Box, ListView or Table control).
    Note: Unlike ListSelect, this property allows you to directly find out whether the row corresponding to the specified subscript is selected or not.

Finding out whether an element is selected Hide the details

<Result> = <Control Name>[<Row Subscript>]..Selected
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the element is selected,
  • False otherwise.
<Control name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of control to use:
  • Name of List Box, ListView or Table control: used to find out whether the row is selected.
<Row subscript>: Integer
Subscript of the row to use.

  • Name of List Box, ListView or Table control: used to select a row or not.

  • True if the element must be selected,
  • False otherwise.

Single-selection and multi-selection List Box control

For a multi-selection List Box control, ..Selected is used to:
  • find out the selected rows.
  • select several rows.
For a single-selection List Box control, when a row is selected by ..Selected, the row that was previously selected is automatically de-selected.
iPhone/iPad The multi-selection List Box controls are not available.
