In a window or page, the Multiline property is used to:
  • determine if an edit control supports multi-line text or make it multiline-compatible.
  • determine if a table control supports multi-line text or make a table column multiline-compatible. In order for the change to be taken into account, you must re-display the Table control (TableDisplay for example) or fill the Table control again.
In a report, the Multiline property is used to:
  • determine if a control supports multi-line text
  • modify the "Multiline" option of a control.
