Live Data: view data in editors
The "Live Data" is used to view the content of the data files in the controls currently created in the different editors of the product used (window editor, page editor, report editor, ...). This feature allows you to configure the size of a control according to the data that can be displayed in the control. Attention To use Live Data, you must: - associate an analysis with the project,

- Go to the "Live Data" tab.
- Check "Enable Live Data".
- For each data file, specify if necessary:
- Data file type: This option allows you to select the type of data file to be used for previewing. In fact, the data file used can be an HFSQL Classic data file, or an HFSQL Client/Server, Oracle, SQL Server, ... Simply select the corresponding connection.
Different types of data files can be used at the same time. - the directory: The directory can correspond to:

- "Test mode directory": the data files used are those defined for Test mode (the directory is defined in the "Data files" tab of the project description.
- "Directory defined in analysis": the data files used are those defined in the analysis.
