Overview
The relationships are used to link entities among themselves or to link associations to entities.
The data model editor allows you to easily create relationships.
When generating the LDM from the CDM, the relationships will automatically become links.
Create a relationship
To create a relationship:
  1. On the "CDM" tab, in the "Creation" group, expand "New" and select "Draw a relationship". The mouse cursor turns into a pen.
  2. Select:
    • the two entities to link.
    • the entity and the association to link.
  3. Define the cardinalities of the relationship.
Defining the cardinalities
To define the cardinalities:
  1. Select the relationship whose cardinalities must be defined.
  2. On the "CDM" tab, in the "Current element" group, click "Description".
  3. Choose the cardinality among the proposed ones.
  4. Validate the description of the cardinalities.
For more details on cardinalities, see Cardinalities.
