The examples of components supplied with WINDEV Mobile are divided into 2 categories:
  • components that can be used from a WINDEV Mobile application.
These components are found in the "Components\Example components\Mobile" sub-directory of WINDEV Mobile setup directory.
Pocket DatalogicThis example presents the use of the DataLogic component.
This component allows you to use the features found on the Jet terminal.
It includes the management of bar codes, the read/write operations of RFID chips, the management of an imager, the management of a BlueTooth device, the management of diodes, the management of system parameters and the management of WIFI networks

Pocket Directory PickerThis example explains how to use the Directory Picker component for Pocket PC.

Pocket Falcon(component for interfacing with the Falcon hardware of PSC, Inc.)
In the industrial or retailer world (stock management, production monitoring, orders, deliveries, ...), some Pocket PCs have been equipped with devices and features such as:
    - a scanner of bar codes
    - a numeric or alphanumeric keyboard
    - a camera
    - ...
The Pocket Falcon component is used to access all the features of the FalconTM Pocket PCs. It allows you to easily develop applications that use the above-mentioned technologies

Pocket GPSThis application is an example for using the Pocket GPS component.
The following data is returned by the component:
    - the longitude: angle between a point found on the Greenwich meridian and a given position in relation to the center of the Earth
    - the latitude: angle between a point found on the equator and a given position in relation to the center of the Earth
    - the vitesse: movement speed in km/h
    - the altitude: altitude in relation to the sea level
To operate, this example requires a GPS device that complies with the NMEA standard.

Pocket IntermecThis example presents the use of the Intermec component.
This component is used to emulate the bar code reader as well as the imager (device for capturing images) of an Intermec device.
CAUTION: This example requires the "WDIntermec.dll" DLL found in the exe directory of the component and example.

    Pocket LimitationPocket Limitation
In most cases, a software is proposed in trial version limited in time in order for the user to try it before purchasing a license. Several methods can be used to perform this limitation:
    Limitation regarding the duration
    Activating/Locking the application
This example presents a method used to implement a limitation in time as well as a system for activating the software on a Pocket PC.

    Pocket Login ManagementPocket Login Management
This example provides and presents the Pocket PC component named 'Pocket Login Management'. The following elements are accessible in the component:
-> a 'Login_Identification_Window' window (visible in the project graph and bordered by a green outline): this window is used to identify a user, to modify the list of users and to modify the password of a user.
-> a set of procedures named 'LoginManagement' used to configure the identification (file password, number of attempts, adding a user by programming...)
    Notes:
-> The technical documentation of the component is available from 'Workshop...Component...List of components included in the project...Description'.

    Pocket MotorolaPocket Motorola - Example
(component for interfacing with the Motorola hardware)
In the industrial or retailer world (stock management, production monitoring, orders, deliveries, ...), some Pocket PCs have been equipped with interesting devices and features such as:
    - a scanner of bar codes
    - a numeric or alphanumeric keyboard
    - a camera
    - ...
The Pocket Motorola component is used to access all the features of MotorolaTM. It allows you to easily develop applications that use the above-mentioned technologies

Pocket OpticonThis example presents the use of the Opticon component.
This component is used to access the advanced features of the "Opticon" devices:
    - The scanner
    - The imager
    - The system parameters (back lighting, gyroscope, ...)

Pocket PaxarThis example explains how to use the PAXAR component.
This component allows you to use the features of Bar Code Readers and printers found on the PAXAR devices.
    Reading a bar code:
      - A bar code can be read according to two methods:
         - Via a CallBack function (function found in the host project that is called when receiving the bar code)
         - Via Windows events that do not have to be managed. The bar code is sent via WM_CHAR messages, like if the bar code was typed on the keyboard. The cursor must be found in an edit control in order to retrieve bar code.
    Printing a label:
      - A label can be printed according to several methods:
         - A "label" file was created with the software supplied by PAXAR. In this case, all you have to do is call bPrintFile()
         - A "label" file was created with the software supplied by PAXAR with "tagged" data, which means data that will be replaced during the print. In this case, all you have to do is call bPrintFile().

Pocket PIDIONThis example explains how to use the PIDION component.
It is used to perform advanced operations on the hardware as well as a better management of bar code reader, RFID reader, imager, ...
