Binding an Edit control to an item
An Edit control can be bound to an item in a data file, query, etc, ... The type of the bound control may be different depending on the item type. The table below shows the different types of items and the corresponding Edit controls automatically created by the RAD methodology: | | | Type of item | Type of control |

A value must be assigned to each control using the following syntax:
<Control name> = <Data file>.<Item>

The value of each control must be assigned to each item using the following syntax:
