Restarts the logging process on the data file. This logging has been stopped with the <Source>.LogStop function.
Remark: The log process is not available when accessing a database via Remote access.
Remark: From version 19, HFSQL is the new name of HyperFileSQL.

Syntax
<Result> = <Source>.LogRestart()
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the operation was performed,
  • False if a problem occurred. HError is used to identify the error.
<Source>: Type corresponding to the specified source
Name of logged data file whose logging process must be restarted.
Remarks
  • When the log is restarted, the data file must be in its original report, i.e. the report it was in before the <Source>.LogStop function was used.
  • No information is saved in the log between <Source>.LogStop and <Source>.LogRestart.
  • <Source>.LogRestart is equivalent to <Source>.SetLog with the True parameter.
