Syntax
<Result> = <Source>.RecordDate([<Record number>])
<Result>: Character string
  • Date and time of last set in the format YYYYMMDDHHmmSS. The date and time are expressed in UTC format (Universal Time Coordinated).
  • Empty string ("") if an error occurred or if this feature is not supported by the file.
<Source>: Type corresponding to the specified source
Name of the data file used.
<Record number>: Optional 8-byte integer
Number of the record used.
If this parameter is not specified, <Source>.RecordDate will handle the current record.
Remarks

Which date and time will be taken into account?

The date and time (accurate to the second) are those of the last write that was performed on the Record by the functions <Source>.Add, <Source>.Modify, HCross, <Source>.Delete or any functionality that performs a write in the data files (automatic modification of the data files, import functions, reindexing, implementation of integrity rules, ...).

Limitation

This function is not available when using a database via Remote Access.
