<Chart>.AutoRefreshCategoryLabel (Function)

Identifies or defines whether the category labels are refreshed whenever the chart is drawn. In this case, the content of the series is automatically recalculated whenever <Chart>.Draw is called. The category labels are refreshed if necessary.
Use example: a series in a chart is used as reference series: this series is not automatically refreshed.
Linux Caution: A specific configuration is required to use this function in Linux. For more details, see The charts.

Identifying the mode used to refresh the category labels Hide the details

<Result> = <Chart control>.AutoRefreshCategoryLabel()
<Result>: Boolean
Current mode for refreshing the category labels:
  • True if the labels are automatically refreshed,
  • False otherwise.
<Chart control>: Control name
Name of the Chart control to use (in the window, page or report editor).
PHP Only the interactive Chart controls are available.

<Automatic refresh>: Boolean
  • True for an automatic refresh,
  • False otherwise.
Remarks
  • If the category labels are in automatic mode, the category labels will be automatically recalculated during the next call to <Chart>.Draw.
  • If the category labels are not in automatic mode, the category labels will be recalculated during the next call to <Chart>.SourceCategoryLabel.
