Available only with this kind of connection
Configures the isolation mode of transactions for a connection to an HFSQL server. Depending on the mode selected, an application that performs reading operations will have access or not to the data being modified in a transaction by another application, or another instance of the same application. MyConnection is Connection MyConnection.TransactionIsolation(hReadCommitted) MyCustomerFile.ReadFirst(MyKey)
Syntax
<Result> = <Connection>.TransactionIsolation(<Isolation mode>)
<Result>: Boolean - True if the isolation level was implemented,
- False if an error occurred. HErrorInfo is used to identify the error.
<Connection>: Connection variable Name of the Connection variable that describes the connection to an HFSQL server. <Isolation mode>: Integer constant Selected isolation mode: | | hReadCommitted | Other users can only view completed transactions. | hReadUncommitted | Other users can view incomplete transactions. | hRepeatableRead | The application in transaction sees a snapshot of the database when the transaction starts. |
