Syntax
<Result> = CharactTypeCount(<String> , <Type>)
<Result>: Integer
Number of characters in the string corresponding to the sought type.
<String>: Character string (with quotes)
Character string to use.
<Type>: Integer constant (or combination of constants)
Type of characters to find:
ctAccentAccented or diacritical character.
ctSpaceSpace.
ctAlphaLetter.
ctUppercaseUppercase character.
ctLowercaseLowercase character.
ctNumericNumeric character.
ctPunctuationPunctuation character.
Notes:
  • The combination of ctUppercase + ctAccent is used to find out the accented uppercase characters.
  • The combination of ctLowercase + ctAccent is used to find out the accented lowercase characters.
