Reading the elements found in a matrix column
The following code is used to read the value of the elements found in a matrix column. The name of the matrix and the column to read are entered by the user in edit controls (EDT_MatrixName, EDT_ElementColumn).

// Declare the variable
ResReadColumn is character string
// Read the column elements. Each element will contain 10 characters
// including 2 digits after the decimal point, in real format.
ResReadColumn = MatReadColumn(EDT_MatrixName, EDT_ElementColumn, "10.2f")
