Table,Search (External language)

Finds a value in a memory table. It is an exact-match search.
Remark: This function must not be used for a browsing table.
Example

CALLWD("Table,Search,Prod,000002");

CALLWD('Table,Search,Prod,000002');

call CALLWD("Table,Search,Prod,000002")
Syntax
Table,Search(<Column name> , <Sought value>)
<Column name>: Character string
Name of column where the search will be performed.
<Sought value>: Character string
Value sought in the column. This value must have the same size as the value of the sought column.
Remarks
Table,Search returns in WdInt:
  • the subscript of the table element corresponding to the search
  • -1 if the sought string is not found.
