Denies all new connections to a database or to all databases.
Remarks:
  • The read and write operations operate as usual. Only the new connections to the database are denied.
  • To re-enable the connections, use HEndNoDatabaseAccess.
Remark: From version 19, HFSQL is the new name of HyperFileSQL.

Syntax
<Result> = HNoDatabaseAccess(<Connection> [, <Database>])
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the access (which means the connection) to the specified database (or to all the databases accessed by the connection) is denied,
  • False if an error occurred. HError is used to identify the error.
<Connection>: Character string (with or without quotes) or Connection variable
Connection containing the database to which access must be denied. This connection corresponds to:
<Database>: Optional character string (with quotes)
Name of the database for which the access must be denied.
If this parameter is set to "*", the access will be denied for all the databases.
If this parameter is not specified, the access will be denied for the databases used by <Connection>.
