Syntax
OpenPopupMenu([<Name of popup menu> [, <X> , <Y >]])
<Name of popup menu>: Optional character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the popup menu that must be opened for the current control.
If this parameter is not specified, the default popup menu associated with the control is opened.
<X>: Integer (optional)
X coordinate of the opening position of the popup menu. This X coordinate is expressed in pixels, in relation to the top left corner of the window. If <X> and <Y> are not specified, the popup menu is opened at mouse position.
<Y >: Integer (optional)
Y coordinate of the opening position of the popup menu. This Y coordinate is specified in pixels, in relation to the top left corner of the window. If <X> and <Y> are not specified, the popup menu is opened at mouse position.
Remarks
  • This function must be run in the code associated with a control or window. This function should not be used in the code for resizing a window.
  • This function is a locking function until the popup menu is closed.
  • WINDEV For a MDI child window, it may be interesting to open a popup menu defined in the MDI parent window. In this case, <Name of popup menu> must have the following format:
    NameOfWindow.NameOfPopupMenu
