- Accessing a database found on Mobile Device (Pocket PC)
cdbCancelSearch (Function) In french: cdbAnnuleRecherche Cancels the current search criterion (standard database found on the Mobile Device or ".CDB" database). The file browse can continue from the current record, without using any search criterion. The browsed records will not necessarily correspond to the search condition. Caution: From Windows Mobile 5, the access to a standard database (tasks, contacts, appointments, ...) can no longer be performed from a Windows application (and therefore from a standard WINDEV application). | | | | | Accessible from the PC | Accessible from the simulator | Accessible from the Mobile Device (Pocket PC) | CDB database | Yes | Yes | Yes | Standard database | No | No | Yes |
// Find the first record for which the customer name is Smith ResSearch = cdbReadSeek("MyDatabase", "Customer", "Name", "Smith") // Stop the search cdbCancelSearch("MyDatabase", "Customer") // First name of this first customer found Info("The first name of this customer is: " + cdbCol("MyDatabase", "Customer", "FirstName"))
