Font management properties

Android Widget These properties are now available in Android widget mode.
Android These properties are now available for Android applications.
These properties can be used on a variable of type Font.
CharsetThe Charset property is used to:
  • Find out the character set used by a Font variable.
  • Modify the character set used by a Font variable.
  • Find out the character set used by an HFSQL data file.
OrientationThe Orientation property is used to:
  • Get the angle (in degrees) of a Font variable.
  • Modify the angle (in degrees) of a Font variable.
StrikeOutThe StrikeOut property is used to:
  • Find out whether a Font variable is struck out.
  • Strike out (or not) a Font variable.
CondensedThe Condensed property is used to:
  • Determine whether a Font variable is condensed.
  • Condense a Font variable.
This property is kept for backward compatibility.
ColorThe Color property is used to get or change the font color for:
  • a Font variable.
  • a text displayed in a Static control or in a calculated control of a report.
  • a text displayed in a window control.
  • a text displayed in a page control.
ExtendedExtended is used to:
  • Find out whether a Font variable is extended.
  • Extend (or not) a Font variable.
This property is kept for backward compatibility.
BoldThe Bold property is used to:
  • Find out whether a Font variable is bold.
  • Modify the bold attribute of a Font variable.

The LineSpacing property gets and sets the line spacing for variables of type Font.

  • Modify the italic attribute of a Font variable.
LargeLarge is used to:
  • Find out whether a Font variable is enlarged.
  • Enlarge (or not) a Font variable.
This property is kept for backward compatibility.
NameThe Name property is used to get:
  • the name of the font associated with a Font variable.
  • the name of a control, report or report block.
  • the name of a control, group of controls or window.
  • the name of a control, group of controls or page.
UnderlineThe Underline property is used to:
  • Find out whether a Font variable is underlined.
  • Underline (or not) a Font variable.
SizeThe Size property is used to determine and change the size of an element.
