The MaxSourceCardinality property is used to set the characteristics of a link. You can:
  • Find out the maximum cardinality of the source item in the link.
  • Modify the maximum cardinality of the source item in the link.

Finding out the maximum cardinality of the source item Hide the details

<Cardinality> = <Link>.MaxSourceCardinality
<Cardinality>: Integer
Maximum cardinality of the source item for the link. The hInfiniteCardinality constant is used to identify the cardinality "n".
<Link>: Character string
Name of the link defined in the data model editor or via the Link description type.

Modifying the maximum cardinality of the source item Hide the details

<Link>.MaxSourceCardinality = <New cardinality>
<Link>: Character string
Name of the link defined in the data model editor or via the Link description type.
<New cardinality>: Integer
New maximum cardinality for the source item of the link. The hInfiniteCardinality constant is used to define the cardinality "n". By default, when a link is described through programming, the maximum cardinality of the source item is equal to 1.
