Warning
From version 27 (77), spSize is kept for backward compatibility. This property is replaced by spLength.
The spLength property is used to:
  • Get the hash output length. This property can be used for items of type "Password" defined in the data model editor or programmatically.
  • Set the hash output length (only for "Password" items defined programmatically).
Example

Syntax

Get the hash output length ("Password" item) Hide the details

<Length> = <Data file>.<Item>.spLength
<Length>: Integer
Hash output length (in bits). The key must be a multiple of 8, greater than 160 bits and less than 2048 bits. It is recommended to use a 256 or 512-bit key.
<Data file>: Character string
Name of the file used. This name was defined in the data model editor or with the File Description type.
<Item>: Character string
Name of the item used. This name was defined in the data model editor or with the Item Description type.

<Item>: Character string
Name of the item used. This name was defined by the Item Description type.
<Length>: Integer
