Events associated with ListView controls
The following events appear by default in the WINDEV code editor: | | Event | Runtime condition |
---|
Initializing | Executed when the window is opened. *
Special case: ListView control file automatically filled: When this code is run, the ListView control is not filled yet. To force the ListView control to be filled in this code, use: | End of initialization | Code only present for automatically filled ListView control fields: Run once the ListView control has been filled. This code allows you to select, add or modify an element in the ListView control. | Entry | Executed when the control gains focus. | Exit | Executed when changing control (TAB key, change of control with the mouse, ...). | Displaying a row | Executed when a new item is to be displayed in the ListView control: redisplay of the ListView control, scrolling or moving in the ListView control, ... | Selecting a row | Executed when the user selects an item in the line or changes the selected item. |
(*) By default, the "Initialization" event of each control is executed according to the order in which the controls were created in the window. To modify this runtime order: - On the "Window" tab, in the "Order" group, click "Initialization".
- In the window that appears, use the arrows on the right to change the order in which the controls are initialized.
Several optional events can be added. To add an optional event: - Select the desired control.
- Display the code window of this control (F2 key).
- Click the link "Add other events to xxx" at the bottom of the window code, after the last event.
- All the optional events available for the control are displayed.
- Check the optional event to add and validate.
Note: Several optional events can be selected. - The selected optional event is automatically added to the events managed by the control.
To disable an optional event, simply perform the same operations to display the list of optional events. Then simply uncheck the optional events to delete. Note: If the deactivated code contains WLanguage code, this code is automatically deleted.. You can manage, for example: - the mouse hover over the control,
- left mouse button down, up, double click,
- right mouse button down, up, double click,
