<websocketClient variable>.Send (Function) In french: <Variable websocketClient>.Envoie Sends a message from the WebSocket server to the client. // Retrieve list of clients arrClients is array of websocketClient = WebSocketListConnectedClient() // To send a message to each client FOR EACH oClient OF arrClients oClient.Send(bufMessage) END
Syntax
Sends(<Client> , <Message>)
<Client>: websocketClient variable Name of the websocketClient variable that corresponds to the client to which the message will be sent. <Message>: Character string Message to send. Remarks - This function is asynchronous: it simply requests the sending of the message to the client. The message can actually be sent later (after <websocketClient variable>.Send has been executed). <websocketClient variable>.Send never returns an error (for example, if the client has been disconnected in the meantime).
- The WebSocket protocol supports two message formats: binary or string (UTF-8 encoded). <websocketClient variable>.Send automatically chooses the format according to the type of parameter received.
