Syntax

Deleting an image identified by the associated variable Hide the details

<Result> = <Map control>.DeleteImage([<Image>])
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the image was deleted,
  • False otherwise. To get more details on the error, use ErrorInfo.
<Map control>: Control name
Name of the Map control to be used.
<Image>: Optional MapImage variable
Name of the MapImage variable that corresponds to the image to be deleted. If this parameter is not specified, all the images on the map will be deleted.

Deleting an image identified by its name Hide the details

<Result> = <Map control>.DeleteImage(<Image name>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the image was deleted,
  • false otherwise. To get more details on the error, use ErrorInfo.
<Map control>: Control name
Name of the Map control to be used.
<Image name>: Character string
Name of the image to be deleted. This name corresponds to the Name property of the MapImage variable to be deleted. If this parameter is not specified, all the images on the map will be deleted.
