..RulerModifiable is used to:
  • Find out whether the ruler of a TimeLine control can be moved by the user.
  • Make the ruler of a TimeLine control movable (or not) by the user.
Reminder: The ruler of a TimeLine control corresponds to a "bold" vertical line used to view a specific moment in the control. The style of the ruler is defined in the "Style" tab of the TimeLine control ("Selected time" element).

Syntax

Finding out whether the ruler can be modified by the user Hide the details

<Result> = <TimeLine control>..RulerModifiable
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the ruler can be moved by the user,
  • False otherwise.
<TimeLine control>: Control name
Name of TimeLine control used.

Making the ruler modifiable (or not) by the user Hide the details

<TimeLine control>..RulerModifiable = <Modifiable or not>
<TimeLine control>: Control name
Name of TimeLine control used.
<Modifiable or not>: Boolean
  • True to allow the ruler to be moved by the user,
  • False otherwise.
Remarks
  • The ruler can be modified by the user:
    • if the option "Modifiable pager" is checked in the description window of the TimeLine control.
    • if ..RulerModifiable is set to True.
  • The default position of the ruler corresponds to ..StartTotalRange.
  • The end user can modify the value of the ruler by moving the line with the mouse. This action triggers the event "Whenever modifying the TimeLine control".
  • The new position of the ruler is returned by ..RulerValue.
