The CalculatorButton property is used to determine and indicate whether a Numeric or Currency Edit control has a button to display a popup calculator.

Syntax

Finding out whether a Calculator button is displayed Hide the details

<Result> = <Edit control>.CalculatorButton
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the Calculator button is displayed.
  • False otherwise.
<Edit control>: Control name
Name of the numeric or currency edit control to use.

Displaying a Calculator button Hide the details

<Edit control>.CalculatorButton = <Display>
<Edit control>: Control name
Name of the numeric or currency edit control to use.
<Display>: Boolean
  • True if the Calculator button must be displayed.
  • False otherwise.
Remarks

Operating mode of the calculator

At runtime, the numeric and currency edit controls propose the "Calculator" option in their popup menu. This option is used to display a calculator to perform a calculation.
If the CalculatorButton property is used to display a Calculator button in the numeric or currency Edit control, the "Calculator" option is no longer available in the context menu of the control.
Remark: To disable the display of the calculator for a project or for a control (via the button or the popup menu), use AAFDisable.
