Overview
The popup menu of an edit control proposes a "Search on Internet" option on the term selected in the control.
Versions 23 and later
This option is also available in the columns found in the Table, TreeView Table, Spreadsheet and Pivot Table controls. If the column is not editable, the cell content is selected.

When the option "Find on Internet" is selected, a search on the selection is automatically performed in Google.
How to proceed?

Implementation

The option "Find xxx on Internet" is automatically implemented:
  • from version 19 for the edit controls.
  • Versions 23 and later
    from version 23 for the Table, TreeView Table, Spreadsheet and Pivot Table controls.

The display of this option can be configured (like all the options proposed by the AAFs). See Configuring the AAF menus for more details.
By programming:
  • DisableAAF associated with the aafInternetSearch constant is used to delete the option from the popup menu. AAFDisable (or DisableAAF) associated with the aafInternetSearch constant is used to delete the option from the popup menu.
  • ConfigureAAF allows you to specify the search engine used (Google by default).AAFConfigure (or ConfigureAAF) allows you to specify the search engine used (Google by default).
