Warning
From version 20, the Quality Control Center does not exist on its own anymore. It was included in the Project Monitoring Center. See Project Monitoring Center: Managing incidents for more details.
Overview
The Quality Control Center is used to configure the following parameters:
The Quality Control Center is configured via "Parameters .. Options of Quality Control Center".
Location of data files
This option is used to specify the physical location of the data files used by the Quality Control Center and by the different Control Centers supplied with WINDEV, WEBDEV and WINDEV Mobile. Indeed, the different Control Centers share the same database.
You have the ability to use one of the following databases:
  • HFSQL Classic,
  • HFSQL Client/Server.
Note: From version 19, HFSQL is the new name of HyperFileSQL.
Personal options
The personal options affect the configuration of the Quality Control Center for the user who is currently connected.
You can:
  • Request the password at startup. If this option is checked, a window used to identify the user is displayed when the Quality Control Center is started.
  • Start when Windows is started. If this option is checked, the Quality Control Center will be automatically started when the Windows session is opened. The Quality Control Center is minimized in the taskbar of Windows. The identification window will be displayed if "Request the password at startup" is checked.
  • Manage the user feedback automatically . This option is used to automatically import the user feedback in background task. This option is set to "Never" by default. The user feedback can be imported every week for example when starting the Quality Control Center.
  • Links between the different Control Centers. This option is used to indicate the behavior of the Quality Control Center in several cases:
    • Creating an incident: The incident can be automatically associated (or not) with the requirement linked to the current task.
    • Fixing an incident: If the incident is associated with a task, you have the ability to automatically end the task.
    • Archiving an incident: If the incident is associated with a task that is not completed, you have the ability to automatically end the task.
The ["Don't display anymore" dialog boxes] button is used to manage the dialog boxes of the Quality Control Center for which the "Don't display anymore" box was checked.
Options for messaging management
The options for messaging management are used to configure the link between the actions performed in the Quality Control Center and the in-house messaging WDBal. This setting can only be performed by the administrators of the Control Centers (login and password corresponding to ADMIN).
You have the ability to specify whether a message will be sent and to whom in the following cases:
  • Creating, correcting and archiving an incident.
  • Modifying the status of an incident (switch to priority or to normal).
  • Reassigning an incident.
  • Re-enabling an incident.
Administrator options
In the Quality Control Center, the administrators (default login and password: ADMIN) have specific rights and they can perform specific operations. This tab is used to configure:
  • the ability to allow the incidents to be modified by all the contributors: if this option is not checked, the only persons allowed to modify an incident will be:
    • the author of the incident.
    • the contributor linked to the incident.
    • the project manager linked to the incident.
    • the administrators of the Control Centers.
  • the email account used for user feedback. This account is the global account used for all the spools of user feedback. A specific account can also be defined to manage the feedback of each application. For the global account, you have the ability to specify:
    • the POP3 server used, its port, the user account and the associated password.
    • the SMTP server used, its port, the user account and the associated password.
You also have the ability to delete the messages from the server.
Minimum required version
  • Version 14
