SchedulerModifyTrigger (Function)

Modifies the parameters for the schedule of a scheduled task, which means the parameters that will define the execution of a task. The parameters used to modify the schedule of the task are the ones specified in the TriggerScheduledTask structure.
Note: To fill the TriggerScheduledTask structure with the parameters for a task schedule, use SchedulerTriggerProperties.
Example
// The task is a daily task, run every day at 10:00 from today
TriggerScheduledTask.Type = schedDaily
TriggerScheduledTask.Time = 1000
TriggerScheduledTask.BeginDate = Today()
ScheduleNum = SchedulerAddTrigger("MyTask")

// Modify the execution time
TriggerScheduledTask.Time = 1030
SchedulerModifyTrigger("MyTask", ScheduleNum)
Syntax
<Result> = SchedulerModifyTrigger(<Task Name> , <Schedule Identifier>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if successful,
  • False if an error occurred.
<Task Name>: Character string (with quotes)
Name of the task to use.
<Schedule Identifier>: Integer
Identifier of the schedule to use. This identifier was defined when the schedule was created by SchedulerAddTrigger.
Remarks
The SchedulerXXX functions are not available in Windows NT if a version earlier than Internet Explorer 5.0 is installed.
