ThreadSuspend (Function)
In French: ThreadSuspend
Temporarily suspends the execution of the specified thread. The current processes is not locked. To resume the execution of the thread, use ThreadResume.
Reminder: A thread is a process run in parallel of the current application (main thread). This allows you to run a task in background task for example (backup, ...).
Example
// -- Click on the BTN_Save button
// Interrupts the print in background task
ThreadSuspend("Print_background")
// Backup
...
// Resume the print
ThreadResume("Print_background")
Syntax
ThreadSuspend(<Thread Name>)
<Thread Name>: Character string (with quotes)
Name of the thread to suspend. No error occurs if the name of the thread does not exist.
Caution: the name of the thread cannot be an empty string: you cannot suspend the current thread.
Remarks
In order for the current thread to wait for another thread, use ThreadWaitSignal.
