OLECopy (Function)
In French: OLECopie
Copies the object found in an OLE control into the Windows clipboard.
Example
// Create a Paint Brush object
OLECreateEmpty(OLE_OLE1, "PBrush")
// The object is copied into the clipboard
OLECopy(OLE_OLE1)
// The object is pasted and saved in another control
OLEPaste(OLE_OLE2)
OLESave(OLE_OLE2, "OBJECT.OLE")
Syntax
<Result> = OLECopy(<Control Name>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the object was copied,
  • False otherwise.
<Control Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the OLE control that contains the OLE object to copy. If this parameter corresponds to an empty string (""), the control to which the current process belongs will be used.
Remarks
  • Only OLE version 1 is supported.
  • The content of the clipboard is overwritten. The clipboard content can be in text, graphic or binary format.
