Overview
The Radar chart is used to highlight a series according to another one.
In a Radar chart, the number of axes is equal to the number of categories. All the axes are issued from the central point.
The categories are indicated around the chart. The values of series are displayed inside the chart.

Characteristics of a radar chart
Radar chart
In this chart:
1. Radar point with its value.
The point value is displayed if the following conditions are fulfilled:
  • the "Display the values" option is checked:
    • WINDEVWINDEV MobileReports and Queries in the "Details" tab of the description of Chart control.
    • WEBDEV - Server code in the "Options" tab of the description of Chart control.
  • "Display the values" is checked in the "Details" tab of the description of Chart control.
  • the type of point is defined for each series in the "Series" tab of the description window of point. If the type of point is "Not drawn", the point will not be highlighted and its value will not be displayed.
The size of the points is defined in the "General" tab of the description window of control.
2. Chart title. The characteristics of chart title are typed:
  • WINDEVWINDEV MobileReports and Queries in the "Details" tab of control description ("Edit the chart title" button).
  • WEBDEV - Server code in the "Options" tab of control description ("Edit the chart title" button).
The characteristics of chart title are typed in the "Details" tab of control description ("Edit the chart title" button).You have the ability to define the chart title as well as its position and style.
3. Category label.
The category labels can be defined in the "Series" tab of control description. To display the category labels, all you have to do is check "Display the labels of categories" in the "General" tab of the description window of the chart.
4. Legend. The legend characteristics are typed:
  • WINDEVWINDEV MobileReports and Queries in the "Details" tab of control description ("Edit the chart legend" button).
  • WEBDEV - Server code in the "Options" tab of control description ("Edit the chart legend" button).
The legend characteristics are typed in the "Details" tab of control description ("Edit the chart legend" button).You have the ability to define its position and its style.
5. Labels of series.
The caption of the legend corresponds to the caption of the different series displayed in the chart (defined in the "Series" tab).
6. Color of series.
A color can be defined for each series in the "Series" tab of control description. An automatic color is used by default.
7. Gridlines.
To display the gridlines, select "Display the gridlines" in the "General" tab of the control description.
8. Mark.
The mark is automatically calculated. Therefore, grOrigin will have no effect on this type of chart.
Note: The zoom is not supported by a radar chart.
