Stored procedures
Stops receiving or broadcasting a type of data in a stream. The emission or the reception of the data type can be resumed via StreamPlay.
Caution: The Conference controls are no longer supported from Windows Vista.
Versions 20 and later
From version 20, the Conference controls are supported in Windows Vista and later. If you want to use the Conference control with an earlier Windows version:
  1. Display the description window of control.
  2. In the "GUI" tab, check "Use the TAPI 3.x APIs / Windows XP (for compatibility)".
  3. Validate.

Syntax
StreamStop(<Stream Identifier> [, <Type of Stream>])
<Stream Identifier>: Integer
Identifier of the stream to use. This identifier is known in the "Connection request" process associated with the stream. It can also be returned by ..Value applied to the stream.
<Type of Stream>: Optional Integer constant (or combination of constants)
Type of stream to stop:
  • Simple constants
    StreamIncomingSoundIncoming sound stream.
    StreamOutgoingSoundOutgoing sound stream.
    StreamIncomingVideoIncoming video stream.
    StreamOutgoingVideoOutgoing video stream.

  • Constants corresponding to a combination of constants
    StreamFullDuplexSoundIncoming and outgoing sound stream (corresponds to StreamOutgoingSound + StreamIncomingSound).
    StreamFullDuplexVideoIncoming and outgoing video stream (corresponds to StreamOutgoingVideo + StreamIncomingVideo).
    StreamAll
    (default value)
    Video + Sound stream (StreamFullDuplexSound + StreamFullDuplexVideo).
Remarks

Procedure for stream detection

The "Request for connecting a new stream" process is run when a request for incoming stream connection is detected.
This process is run only if:
  • ..Detection applied to the stream is set to True.
  • the "Detection of incoming streams" option was checked in the description window of the streams.
Note: This process is run in a specific thread of WLanguage. Therefore, it is subject to limitations specific to the threads. See Managing threads with WINDEV for more details.
